Windale Public School Preschool
An award winning nature playspace
A complete playground redesign, this playspace was completed over 2 stages in 2020.
The school children and staff refer to the playground as a "natural exploration haven".
It has many areas for active play and challenging motor skills, as well as imaginative play areas and quiet cubby spaces.
The hero piece of the playground is a big whale climber, which is valued by the community as an Aboriginal totem. It is designed for use as a climber that can be used by many children at once, and a cubby underneath.

This playground won the 2020 Kidsafe Playspace Design Award for the Preschool Category!
There is so much to do on this playground!
