Winanga-Li – “To hear, to listen, to know, to remember
The playground at the Winanga-Li centre was designed by the staff, and custom created to suit the specific needs of the centre. The elements have a practical use; with a bubbler, various types of seating and play equipment. The natural feel and beauty of local timber does not contrast the landscape, but provides a connection to nature; blending comfortably into the surrounding area.

This Aboriginal Child and Family Centre was opened in July 2013, and will bring together a range of family, early childhood and health services. It is the first of nine new centres planned for around New South Wales.
