A Hillside Adventure Playground

Annangrove Public School is a small school in a stunning environment overlooking the local bushland. They wanted a playground that suited the natural setting, and provided a unique play experience compared to traditional play equipment.

We were able to utilise the existing trees in the play area without damaging them, and created an amazing adventure playspace with balancing, climbing and exploring and much more!

Situated on the side of a hill and featuring some clever tricks to stop the softfall from moving down the slope, while adding to the play value, this playground has one of the best views ever!

There are many tricky but exciting ways to scale the slope and reach the hangout net for a break.

With the log and sandstone retaining wall and bench tree seat, there is also enough seating for the whole school around the play area!

Features:

  • Octagonal hangout net and twisty climbing net

  • Log balance overlay around the trees

  • Shipping rope crossing

  • Log steppers

  • Log and sandstone retaining wall

  • Softfall mulch

  • Tree seat bench
